On meeting yourself with love and kindness â€ïžđŸ˜Š

If you want to initiate a huge shift in sharing your voice confidently, it's stopping the negative prep-talk and instead meeting yourself with love and kindness.

Telling yourself "I need to be able to do this." or "I cannot make any mistakes." or "I should not show that I'm nervous." puts a lot of stress on you and that makes it actually more difficult to show up confidently.

(You can listen to me talk about this on my podcast here and watch me on youtube here)

When we allow ourselves to make mistakes, to not be perfect, to be human, to meet ourselves with love and kindness, whether that is for singing or speaking - we can show up authentically and allow ourselves to grow and by that allow others to grow, too.

As I believe strongly in the power of music I have recorded a musical piece that you can listen to as you take time to journal on these 3 questions:

- What does it feel like in my body, when I talk negatively to myself?

- What would it feel like if I gave myself and my voice more space? Physically and emotionally?

- What would it allow me to do more of if love and kindness was guiding the way?

Remember:

Your voice deserves love and kindness, that's what will make your confidence grow ❀✚

With lots of positive vibes 🌈
